A Home Rooted in Nature! This project is very close to our designing journey because it gave us a chance to connect with our roots and gave us many stories that we will remember for life. The property is wrapped in hues of mother nature the house speaks for the soul of the earth. Minimalist, Stylish and Contemporary in its look, vibe and functionality, it was a unique experience for Cee Bee Design Studio to weave in the elements of nature in the spacious house and give each area and angle its own unique vibe. Not just elements we have also ensured to weave in Indian Art into the concept. Rattan and Terracotta have been skilfully introduced in the furniture, finishings and the decorative of the house. The intent was to create an experience for the family and transport their souls closer to their roots and bring them home in the real sense.

We ended up creating a very interesting story, with the intent of incorporating Terracotta into the concept and we call it the Bishnupur Story!

In the attempt to promote Indian Art in a manner that the artists and the craftsmen benefit the most out of it, we straight away went to the roots and our team reached Bishnupur for the selections for a property that is situated in Bangalore. After rounds of discussions and running by multiple available design, the final design was discussed with the artists and the terracotta tile were curiously curated and transported to Bangalore all the way from West Bengal. It all started when the designing team came to brainstorm and we consciously decided to use Terracotta Tiles in this design. The next challenge was to find the right space in the property such that the highlight can be created to uniquely stand out while blending in well with the rest of the concept. We then zeroed in on the Den Room and the final output was a happy moment for us and the client as well. Custom made terracotta tiles used to cover a beam, not only provide functional coverage, but also adds a touch of groovy style to the space. We have also used Katha stitch in shutters which again is an artform from West Bengal that has been intricately woven into the designs.

A mix of interesting pastel shades with pops of olive and blue woven into furniture and decorative pieces finished in PU, Veneer, Fluted Glass & Rattan lends this property a vibrant yet a homely and classic vibe. The wardrobe has a unique louvered and rattan shutter, which gives the bedroom a very different look. The kitchen has been designed in a modern country style, featuring blue shutter and Moroccan tiles, along with frosted fluted glass shutters that add sophistication and are durable for a high traffic area. Rattan is used as a decorative element throughout the design to add warmth and create a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the design is a trend of traditional and modern elements, and the combination of elements used in the design makes it both beautiful and practical. The kitchen and the dining area is a stunning example of contrasting finishes with a mix of Rattan, PU and Veneer creating a truly unique and a beautiful space. The different textures and materials come together to form a cohesive design that is both stylish and functional.

Immerse yourself in the timeless elegance of a classic bathroom interior, where sophistication meets functionality. Every detail is meticulously crafted, to create a harmonious sanctuary of indulgence and relaxation. The interior boasts of a harmonious blend of intellect and organization with its bookshelf and study table ensemble.

The chest of drawers is a beautiful example of the timeless combination of wood and rattan. The natural wood finishes create a warm and inviting look, while the rattan accents a touch of texture and visual interest. The living room exudes elegance with its spectacular pastel blue interior, casting a shimmering glow, that amplifies the room’s aesthetic appeal.
